We are a paint-your-own pottery studio and espresso bar in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia! A place for people of all ages and skill levels to unplug and create!
We have hundreds of blank ceramic pieces available to paint! There is something for everyone - no matter your age or experience.
We offer an espresso bar serving your local favourites. Enjoy one of our staple drinks or try something from our seasonal menu! While painting, you can enjoy a locally made baked goods as well as a selection of treats for kiddos and adults alike!

Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A: All of our pieces are priced individually, so the cost of your visit is dependant on which piece(s) you choose! For many of our pieces, the price range is between $16-$30 which includes everything (paint, studio time, kiln-firing) except for tax!
Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
A: The amount of time it takes to paint in our studio is dependant on the piece you choose and how much detail you plan to use. We typically advise our customers to plan for 2+ hours! Don’t worry - we have cozy music, warm drinks and an inviting atmosphere to keep you happy for as long as you are with us! Please note that seating for painting ends 1 hour and 45 minutes prior to close!
Q: WHEN WILL I GET MY PIECE BACK?
A: Once you finish painting, you leave your piece with us to be kiln-fired! You come back 10 days from the day you paint to pick up your finished piece. For pieces painted during March Break, turnaround time is approximately two weeks. This applies to earthenware only. For stoneware, firing time varies, and we will call you when stoneware pieces are ready for pickup, typically within 2-3 weeks.
Q: DO I NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT OR RESERVATION?
A: We are a drop-in studio; no reservation necessary! If you have a table of 6 or more though, we do recommend a reservation. For groups of 10+, please visit our party booking page! Please note we cannot take requests for reservations online through our contact form. To make a reservation for 6+ people, call us at 902-434-2226.
Q: DO YOU HOST BIRTHDAY PARTIES?
A: We sure do! Our party room can accommodate up to 12 painters and has it’s own paint bar. It’s a great choice for birthdays, special occasions, and team building events! Visit our parties page for more information!
Q: DO WE OFFER TAKE-HOME KITS?
A: Yup! You can purchase a take-home kit in-store during our open hours Tuesday - Friday. We do not offer take-home kits on the weekend as it is typically too busy for us to pack them up during that time. Expect 2 hours to a full day to prepare your kit depending on the amount of pieces and paints you choose. For small kits, we may be able to prepare them right away if the studio isn’t too busy.
Q: DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?
A: Absolutely! You can purchase physical or e-gift cards in store or over the phone with a credit card in any denomination. E-gift cards can also be purchased online here.
